Joining Kintyre and Mid-Argyll beekeeping association (KAMABA) offers a range of benefits for all local beekeepers.

Educational Support: Members get guidance on best practices, can work towards Beekeeping Certificates, and enjoy hands-on learning through meetings and excursions.

Community and Networking: The association offers a supportive community, monthly meetings, and an active members forum for sharing experiences and mentorship.

Access to Resources: Members access the association’s apiary and swarm collection service, aiding beginners in starting their own hives.

Single Member

£25.00 per Year.

Family Member

£35.00 per Year.


Free (Basic) Membership: Free members can access one forum for advice and attend meetings for £3 per person, without voting rights.

Paid Membership: Annual fees are £25 for individuals, and £35 for families (two adults, two U16’s), granting benefits and adults voting rights at meetings. This is an auto-renewing subscription that can be canceled anytime.
